Publishing changes
Looking at this little site is nostalgic, but reminds me of the drastic changes in the publishing industry over the course of my dabbling in it off and on. I have some books out there that I am proud off, I have some unfinished projects that couldn’t pass economic circumstances. In all, there is a little beauty of real personal contribution to the art of the world. Here, buying a book has gotten easy, but making money on a book has gotten hard. For what the publishers of the old mountain west used to do, they burn by real time tastes and lack of introspection. I do miss the old days, but I do love the new generation too. Keep the beauty of small projects alive I say, where you can. This was a bit of beauty and history and still is.
